There are also many wine aficionados who love to enjoy white wines rather than red. Fact is that white wines are rarely white. In fact it is always important to remember that much of the discussion falls into a bit of a fuzzy area. Many wineries are there who actually mixes all varieties wines together to produce a desired flavor and aroma.  This is why white wines are not completely white.

Chardonnay white wines are undisputedly produced from dominant grape. You can not find any wine drinker who has not taste more than a few Chardonnay whites today. The popularity of the white wine is incredibly due to some reasons. You can find lots of such wines everywhere is the first and secondly, the wine is known for an “oak” flavor, which is extremely popular with wine drinkers. Lastly the due to flexibility of white wine it is produced from a wide range of fruit aromas and flavors. Traditionally Chardonnay white wines are very dry and full bodied. This is why a wide variety of flavors and bodies are on the market produced by many vintage wineries.

You will step further you will find another white wine i.e Sauvignon Blanc. The taste of this wine is too sharp and dry. You may go for it or leave which is typically produced from grape. In fact it is a not a complete wine where you will find mixtures of fruits. However Sauvignon Blanc white wine is a classic and traditional wine that people may love or discard.

Rieslings are the next excellent white wines to your taste.  This wine belongs to German winery. Even French and American wineries are not far behind to produce this wine but these wines are little different to Rieslings wines. You may take this wine as a light wine for your refreshes. The Riesling whites are just light white to be trick and due to its dryness take a beating by wine gurus. However it is quite different to the Chardonnay, so go for this and cheers!

There are a variety of other white grapes that are used to produce interesting vintages. The excellent wine that you have never tasted before is the Viognier grape which is found in the Rhone Valley in France. It is quite flavorful and dry white. It is typically a medium body wine with low acidity and often has a fruity aroma to it.  No doubt when it comes to white wines, there is no confusion regarding the Chardonnay because it is the king of all vines.
